Burch, Laurel The strong, uplifting spirit of
Laurel Burch is evident in her art as it was in her life. “I have had to overcome such an enormous number of
obstacles
that I have developed a belief system which allows me to feel
like I can
accomplish almost anything. Of course, I can’t, but sometimes
the
courage to say ‘I can' is all it takes.”
On September 13, 2007, Laurel Burch passed away due to complications from the bone disease, osteopetrosis. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to brighten our world through the beautiful pieces of jewelry and art that she created.
